I started Bri Booked It! because I wanted to take something I already love doing and turn it into something more. I'm currently studying Hospitality and Tourism Management, so this felt like a pretty natural next step.
I've always loved traveling and finding new places to explore. Somewhere along the way, I realized I really enjoy putting trips together, and eventually I thought, why not make something out of it?
My favorite part is getting to hand someone their finished trip and knowing they can finally stop worrying about all the little details. I love seeing everything come together and knowing they're ready to go enjoy themselves!
When I'm not helping someone figure out their next trip, I'm usually figuring out one of my own. My husband, Joshua, and I have been traveling together for about 15 years, and we've taken multiple trips a year throughout our relationship. His career sometimes involves travel too, so I've gotten pretty used to being the person who figures out how to make the trip actually work.
When it's just Josh and me, we're usually happiest exploring a city, finding really good food, or escaping somewhere quiet where we can just enjoy each other's company.
When we're traveling with our three boys — Josiah, Jovanni, and Jokobi — things look a little different. We're looking for adventures, activities, and places that can keep three very different ages entertained.
Traveling with kids has definitely taught me that a trip can look amazing on paper and still be completely wrong for your family. What works for one person might be miserable for someone else, and that's something I keep in mind when I'm helping someone choose a trip.
Honestly? I look stuff up. A lot.
If you have questions, you can ask me. If I don't know the answer, I'll go find it. That's probably the biggest thing you can expect from me.
I'm also new to doing this as a business, so I'm not going to pretend I've been doing this for 20 years. Bri Booked It! is something I'm building because I genuinely enjoy this, and I'm excited to learn, grow, and help people along the way.
You bring me the idea. I'll do the digging. You pack the bags.
